Universally, February 14th is recognized every year as the day of love because of Valentine's Day but America's Sweetest Day happens to be on the third Saturday of October every year. Although the Sweetest Day origin is a bit blurry today, it is said to have begun in Cleveland back in the 1920s to spread love and joy to the downtrodden in society and other forgotten communities like the homeless, eldery, orphans, and the less fortunate.
